1. Who we are

HC Real is operated by the HC Real project. For privacy questions, support requests, or account deletion requests, contact us at verify@humancoreid.com.

This Privacy Policy applies to the HC Real website, Android application, authentication, trial access, subscription access, voice features, vision features, and cloud AI requests.

2. The core privacy model

HC Real separates your personal memory from cloud intelligence. Memory is not the AI model. Your long-term memory is stored locally on your phone using local app storage. Cloud AI is used to generate intelligent replies or analyze images when you ask HC Real to do something that requires cloud inference.

HC Real's backend does not create a permanent cloud profile of your life and does not store your long-term conversation history as a cloud memory database.

3. Data stored locally on your device

HC Real may store the following information locally on your phone:

• local memory entries created from conversations or actions inside the app;
• conversation context needed for the app experience;
• preferences, settings, voice options, and app state;
• local identifiers required to keep the app working on your device.

You can delete app data from inside the app where available, by deleting your account, or by removing the application data from your Android device settings.

4. Data processed by our backend

HC Real uses a backend hosted on cloud infrastructure to provide secure access and route AI requests. The backend may process:

• email address used for authentication and account access;
• verification code status and account status;
• trial status, usage limits, subscription status, and access checks;
• technical request data needed for security, reliability, abuse prevention, and debugging;
• the minimum request content needed to generate an AI response or complete a vision analysis.

The backend is used for authentication, limits, trial management, Stripe billing connection, and AI routing. It is not designed to store your long-term HC Real memory.

5. Cloud AI processing

When you ask HC Real a question, speak to it, or continue a conversation that requires AI, the app may send the necessary request content to cloud AI systems through our backend. This can include your message and limited relevant context needed to produce a useful reply.

We describe this as cloud AI, AI model, or cloud intelligence. We do not advertise individual infrastructure providers as part of the product experience.

6. Vision and image analysis

If you use Vision, an image or camera snapshot may be sent to an AI model for analysis. The purpose is to answer your request, such as understanding a scene, translating text, reading a menu, or explaining something visible in the image.

HC Real does not use Vision to create a permanent cloud photo library. You should avoid sending images that contain highly sensitive information unless you are comfortable using cloud AI for that request.

7. Voice features

HC Real includes voice interaction features. Depending on your device and app settings, speech recognition, text-to-speech, or audio-related features may rely on your device, operating system services, or cloud processing required to provide the feature.

Voice input may be converted into text so HC Real can generate a response. The resulting text may be processed like any other AI request when cloud intelligence is needed.

8. Payments and subscriptions

HC Real uses Stripe for subscription and payment processing. We may receive subscription status, customer identifiers, billing status, and payment-related events from Stripe so we can activate, renew, cancel, or manage access to HC Real.

We do not store full payment card numbers on HC Real servers. Payment processing is handled by Stripe under its own security and privacy practices.

9. Website cookies

The HC Real website may use essential cookies or local browser storage to remember your cookie choice and keep the website working properly. These cookies do not store your AI memory.

10. Why we process data

We process data to provide HC Real, authenticate users, manage access, enforce fair usage limits, provide AI responses, analyze images when requested, process subscriptions, maintain security, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations.

11. Legal bases

Where applicable, we process personal data based on one or more legal bases: performance of a contract, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing HC Real, and compliance with legal obligations such as accounting or tax requirements.

12. How long data is kept

Local memory remains on your device until you delete it, delete your account, clear app data, or uninstall the app depending on your device behavior. Account and subscription data may be kept while your account exists and for as long as required for billing, security, legal, accounting, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes.

13. Sharing and service providers

We may use trusted service providers to operate HC Real, including cloud hosting, authentication infrastructure, email delivery, payment processing, AI inference, analytics required for reliability, and support tools. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to HC Real.

14. International processing

Cloud infrastructure, AI services, payment providers, and support tools may process data in countries other than your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate legal safeguards for international transfers.

15. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, request data portability, withdraw consent, or lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

16. Account deletion

You can request or perform account deletion as described on the Delete Account page. Account deletion may remove account access and associated account data. Some billing or transaction records may be retained when legally required.

17. Security

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect HC Real, including secure backend access, controlled API keys, subscription checks, and separation between local memory and cloud AI requests. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but privacy and user control are core design goals of HC Real.

18. Children's privacy

HC Real is not intended for children under the age required by applicable law to use online services without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided personal data to HC Real, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

19. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as HC Real evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the date below and, where appropriate, provide notice through the website, app, or email.
