HC Real is built around user control. This page explains how to permanently delete your HC Real account, what happens to local memory on your device, and what limited information may be retained when legally required.
Your long-term HC Real memory lives locally on your device and can be removed from the app or device settings.
Some payment or transaction records may be retained only where required for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention reasons.
1. Delete your account in the app
HC Real allows account deletion directly inside the Android application where the feature is available for your version of the app.
- Open the HC Real app.
- Go to Settings.
- Choose Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation message carefully.
- Confirm deletion if you want to permanently remove your account.
2. Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the app or the in-app deletion option is not available, you can request account deletion by contacting support at verify@humancoreid.com.
To help us find your account, contact us from the same email address used for your HC Real account whenever possible.
3. What is deleted
When your account is permanently deleted, HC Real will remove or deactivate the account information associated with your access to the service, unless certain records must be retained to comply with legal obligations.
- Your HC Real account.
- Your email authentication record.
- Your active subscription access (if applicable).
- Your trial status and account access.
- Server-side account identifiers that are no longer required.
4. Local memory on your device
HC Real is designed differently from many AI services. Your long-term memory is stored locally on your Android device rather than as a permanent cloud memory database.
Deleting your account does not automatically erase files stored locally on your device if the application is still installed. To completely remove local memory, you should also:
- Delete local memory from inside the app (when available).
- Clear the application's data in Android settings.
- Uninstall HC Real if you no longer wish to use it.
5. What may be retained
Some information may need to be retained after account deletion where required by law or necessary for legitimate business purposes.
- Payment and billing records.
- Accounting and tax documentation.
- Fraud prevention and security records.
- Information required to comply with legal obligations.
These records are retained only for the period required by applicable law and are not used as part of your HC Real companion experience.
6. Active subscriptions
Deleting your HC Real account does not automatically cancel an active paid subscription.
If you purchased HC Real through Stripe or another payment provider, please cancel your subscription before deleting your account to avoid future renewals.
Subscription management is available through the billing portal or the payment provider used for your purchase.
7. Recovery
Once account deletion has been completed, it may not be possible to recover your account, local memories, preferences, or associated access.
Please make sure you really want to permanently remove your account before confirming the deletion process.
